About us
Augmentum Ltd is a trusted partner in managing refurbishment and energy efficiency projects for apartment buildings and other types of properties. Our team supports building owners, homeowners’ associations, and property managers through the renovation process – from concept to commissioning – providing comprehensive assistance with documentation, financing, technical design, and construction stages. We believe that every refurbished building tells a story of collaboration, trust, and quality results.
The Augmentum Ltd team operates throughout Latvia, bringing together over 17 years of experience managing European Union fund projects in partnership with ALTUM, the Riga City Municipality, and the Riga Energy Agency. Our work complies with current regulatory frameworks, as well as European Union, national, and municipal programmes aimed at improving buildings’ energy efficiency and preservation.
Our mission is to create renovated, warmer, safer, and more sustainable buildings.
Since 2009, we have been assisting apartment building owners and managers to implement renovation projects that enhance quality of life and reduce heat energy consumption. We seek the best and most innovative solutions (such as prefabricated wooden panels, solar energy utilisation, etc.) and draw on experience gained abroad (Germany, Estonia, Lithuania).
Our work is based on the individual needs of building and apartment owners, transparent communication, and innovative, long-term solutions.
We take pride in over 400 successfully completed projects across Latvia!
The company management and refurbished buildings have been laureates or received jury recognition at the “Most Energy-Efficient Building in Latvia” competition for several years running.

My name is Signe Kajaka – since 2008, I have been working in the construction and energy sectors, participating in the development of renovation projects and policy formulation. In 2009, I represented the Construction Energy Agency and later the Ministry of Economics when the Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 138 of 10 February was approved: “Regulations on the Activity 3.4.4.1 of the Operational Programme ‘Infrastructure and Services’ Supplement – ‘Measures to Improve the Thermal Insulation of Apartment Buildings’”

Throughout my career, I have participated in seminars, developed projects across Latvia, promoted the attraction of EU funds for apartment buildings, and collaborated with municipalities and homeowner associations. My public opinions and consultations frequently appear in industry media. For example, in the article “With Determination and Enthusiasm Fighting for an Energy-Efficient Riga” on the Riga House Manager portal, where I discuss renovation opportunities in Riga.
