From 2016 until the end of 2023, with financial support from the state and the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) amounting to more than 160 million euros, Latvian residents have renovated 623 apartment buildings.

Seminars on “Energy Efficiency of Apartment Buildings” were held in Vecumnieki, Bauska, and Iecava, organised by SIA “Bauskas novada komunālserviss” and the financial institution “Altum.” The goal was to convince attendees of the effectiveness of insulation measures and to inform them about the process.

The competition “Most Energy-Efficient Building in Latvia 2023,” organised for the 13th year by the Ministry of Economics (ME), has concluded. This year, the competition was held in collaboration with the Ministry of Climate and Energy and the Latvian Association of Civil Engineers.

Builder selected for renovation of residential building at Skolas Street 1 in Gulbene

For a contract price of €920,462.43 excluding VAT, Valmiera’s SIA “Krafter” undertakes to implement an energy efficiency improvement project in the apartment building at Skolas Street 1 in Gulbene, according to information published by the Procurement Monitoring Bureau (IUB). The project manager is indicated as Signe Kajaka.

Discussion about the further implementation or possible suspension of the renovation project started for the building “Stāķi 15”

On 14 April, a general meeting of the apartment owners of the “Stāķi 15” apartment building in Stradi parish took place. Since the building also contains municipal apartments, 8 deputies and the head of the Stradi parish administration, Juris Duļbinskis, also participated.

Renovation works at Krīvu Street 3, Riga

On 3 October 2018, a contract was signed with AS “Development Financial Institution ALTUM” for the allocation of €68,969.89 from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) to implement energy efficiency improvement measures for the apartment building at Krīvu Street 3, Riga.
