Project information

To improve the building’s energy efficiency, the works were carried out within the ALTUM support program and in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 880. Before construction began, a building renovation project and an energy audit were prepared.

Within the project, the following works were completed:

  • Insulation of the building’s external walls and plinth, decorative finishing
  • Renovation of the side walls of the loggias and replacement of enclosing railings
  • Insulation of the basement ceiling
  • Insulation of the roof above the third-floor apartments
  • Insulation of the technical attic floor
  • Installation of new, insulated and fire-resistant attic hatches
  • Replacement of windows in common areas and partial replacement of apartment windows, renovation of ventilation shafts
  • Installation of air supply valves in windows
  • Replacement of the vestibule and basement doors
  • Installation of entrance canopies, construction of new entrance steps
  • Cleaning and repair of the building’s ventilation shafts
  • Installation of a new roof covering and roof hatches
  • Creation of a paving stone border
  • Renovation of entrance porches
  • Renewal of the rainwater drainage system
  • Necessary renovation works of the water supply, sewage and heating systems

According to the building’s energy certificate, the reduction in heating consumption has been calculated from 185.4 kWh/m² (before renovation) to 74.6 kWh/m² (after renovation). The total planned heat energy saving is 60%.
