Project information

To improve the building’s energy efficiency, the works were carried out within the ALTUM support program and in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 880. Before construction began, a building renovation project and an energy audit were prepared.

Within the project, the following works were completed:

  • Insulation of the building’s external walls and plinth, decorative finishing
  • Insulation of the basement ceiling
  • Insulation of the attic floor
  • Renovation of the external wall of the staircase
  • Insulation of the staircase ceiling
  • Replacement of the roof covering
  • Installation of a new rainwater drainage system
  • Repair of the chimney
  • Replacement of old wooden windows, replacement of attic doors
  • Installation of air supply valves both in walls and in window units
  • Renovation of the loggias
  • Renovation of the building perimeter
  • Necessary renovation works of the water supply, sewage and heating systems

According to the building’s energy certificate, the reduction in heating consumption has been calculated from 135 kWh/m² (before renovation) to 59 kWh/m² (after renovation). The total planned heat energy saving is 57%.
