Project information

To improve the building’s energy efficiency, the works were carried out within the ALTUM support program and in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 880. Before construction began, a building renovation project and an energy audit were prepared.

Within the project, the following works were completed:

• Insulation of the building’s external walls and plinth, with decorative finishing
• Insulation of the basement ceiling
• Insulation of the attic floor
• Roof insulation and renovation of the roof covering
• Partial replacement of windows and doors
• Renovation of the enclosing structures and finishing of the building’s loggias
• Replacement of roof hatches
• Repair and finishing of the chimneys
• Installation of air supply valves in windows
• Renewal of the rainwater drainage system
• Renovation of the building perimeter and entrance porches
• Cosmetic renovation of the staircases, including updated lighting and electrical installation
• Renovation of the staircase railings
• Necessary renovation works of the water supply, sewage, and heating systems

As a result of the renovation, the building’s heating consumption has decreased from 178 to 53 kWh/m² (2024/2025 heating season), achieving a 64% heat energy saving. The temporary energy certificate rates the building’s heating consumption at 73 kWh/m².
