Project information

To improve the building’s energy efficiency, the works were carried out within the ALTUM support program and in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 880. Before construction began, a building renovation project and an energy audit were prepared.

Within the project, the following works were completed:

  • Insulation of the building’s external walls and plinth, with decorative finishing
  • Insulation of the basement ceiling
  • Insulation of the attic floor
  • Partial replacement of windows and doors
  • Renovation of the roof covering
  • Repair and finishing of the ventilation chimneys
  • Installation of a new rainwater drainage system
  • Cleaning of the ventilation chimney channels
  • Installation of air supply valves in walls
  • Insulation of the roof above the apartments
  • Renovation of the building perimeter
  • Installation of lightning protection for the building
  • Renovation of outdoor stairs and entrance porches
  • Necessary renovation works of the water supply, sewage, and heating system

As a result of the renovation, the building’s heating consumption has decreased from 182 to 55 kWh/m² (2024/2025 heating season), achieving a 66% heat energy saving. The temporary energy certificate rates the building’s heating consumption at 65 kWh/m².
